Your mortgage lender is someone that you should trust and be able to ask questions to. If you do not feel comfortable with them, do not work with them. It is their job to work with you, to educate you and to insure that you are getting the best possible product from them. It is not all about the bottom line.

If you get your heart set on a home that is not in your price range, you are setting yourself up for heartbreak.
If you are working to buy a home, realize that the mortgage lenders that are available are able to help you to achieve that home. If two offers come in for the same price for the same home, the buyer is likely to take the offer of the home buyer that has his mortgage lender already lined up and ready to go.
